Bulk billed telehealth is a Medicare-funded online GP consultation where the doctor bills Medicare directly on your behalf. If you are eligible, you pay nothing - no upfront fee, no gap payment, no surprises.
At 13CURE, our telehealth service connects you with a fully qualified, AHPRA-registered general practitioner by phone or secure video call. You can consult from home, work, or anywhere in Australia - on weeknights, weekends, and public holidays.
From November 2025, Medicare expanded eligibility for bulk billing incentives to all Medicare-eligible Australians. It means Bulk billing in 13CURE is now available for patients who meet one or more of the following criteria:
If your regular GP practice is registered with 13CURE as a deputising partner, your telehealth consultations after hours are fully bulk billed through Medicare.
Patients who are one year old or younger at the date of consultation are eligible for bulk billing regardless of time or day.
Senior patients aged 70 and above are eligible for bulk billed telehealth consultations across all applicable 13CURE service types.
Bulk billing applies during Medicare's defined after-hours periods - see the full schedule in the Hours section below.
Patients whose regular GP has deputised care to 13CURE qualify for bulk billing under the established clinical relationship requirement of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS).

13CURE's bulk billed telehealth service is designed specifically for after-hours care, giving you access to qualified GPs outside standard clinic hours, when regular clinics are closed.
