Please see below answers to a number of frequently asked questions about 13CURE.


Q: How much will I pay for the home visit?

A:

We bulk bill all Medicare and gold DVA cardholders therefore the home visit will not cost you anything. If a patient does not hold one of those cards you can still book a home visit and pay by credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Our call center will take this payment and email or post a receipt to you for claiming purposes. For students who have overseas health cover we will provide a receipt for you after you pay to get a refund through the health insurance.


Q: How long will it take for a doctor to visit?

A:

On average we see most of our patients between two to three hours of the booking confirmation, this may vary depending on the booking we receive on the night.


Q: What if it is an emergency and you cannot wait?

A:

This service if for patients who have a non-life threatening condition. This service is not for emergencies. If you feel you have a life-threatening emergency please call 000 immediately.


Q: What should I do if the patient condition changes?

A:

Please monitor the patients condition even after the patents visit has been booked. If a patient's condition worsens, please call us as we can advise if we think the patient should go to hospital or call an ambulance.


Q: When can I call to make home visit?

A:

Monday - Friday From 4pm
Saturdays - From 12pm
Sundays & Public Holidays - 24/7
